Support
Youth Track support is currently being handled by e-mail only. This allows us to
more accurately track the problems you might be having and to keep costs down by
not staffing a toll-free phone line. Our policy is to respond within 8 business
hours from the time the message is received. We also provide e-mail support evenings
and weekends on a limited basis depending on availability.
After communicating via e-mail and it is determined that the nature of the problem
is such that warrants a phone call, we will setup an appointment time and number for
you to call and we will be glad to assist you over the phone. Any technical support
phone call received without an appointment will be directed to our support e-mail
address.
Youth Track support is not just limited to when you have a problem. You can ask
"how to" questions regarding any Youth Track feature. If we know the answer to
your question is explained in detail in the User's Guide, we will direct you to
the page number in the User's Guide where the information can be found. If we
know your question is not in the User's Guide or that the section in the User's
Guide has already been read and you just need additional clarification, we will
be glad to give you additional instruction and detailed step-by-step procedures
to help get you started. We may even suggest easier ways to accomplish your goals
using Youth Track that you may not be aware of.
We are here to assist you as best we can so you can utilize Youth Track in the best way possible to help you organize your ministry.
Training
We’ve received several requests for Youth Track 6.0 training. We’ve thought a lot about how we could best conduct training sessions with our customers. We thought about creating a Training DVD, however, my experience with Training DVD’s is they become dated pretty quickly. The same thing with User Manuals. Our Help System, even though it is kept updated with each new build, still doesn't provide dynamic visual instructions. What we've decided to do is provide what we believe will be a great concept in training called web-casts where up to 15 customers can register for on-line training courses scheduled for a specific date and time. On that date and time, you will be able to watch the instructor on his computer visible on your computer via the internet provide visual training on the most current build of Youth Track 6.0. There is even the capability if someone needs to take over the controls to show the instructor or the other participants his/her comments or questions if needed during the 15 minute Question and Answer session at the end of the course. There is absolutely no software you would need to install on your computer, just have internet access. Even Youth Track doesn't have to be installed on your computer for the training courses. There will also be a common phone number to call along with an access code to join in a two-way conference call during the training.
When you consider the cost of a typical training course, even if you register for every course we have available, it will still be cheaper than most training classes when you consider the expense of travel (airfare, hotel, rent car, meals, etc.) are eliminated with the Youth Track 6.0 Online Training Courses. All you pay for is the price of the on-line course and the long-distance conference phone call (what you normally pay through your long distance provider). You can attend the on-line training wherever you have an internet connection. This means you can attend the classes from the office or from the comfort of your home. The on-line training will more than likely be scheduled for evenings after 6:00 PM Central Time. The Registration will be handled through our on-line Order page for each course you decide to attend on-line. In addition, once you've paid for a course, you can take that course as many times as it becomes available for a period of one year from the initial course date at no charge in case you need a refresher.
Click the following Training Schedule link to display the Youth Track 6.0 Training Schedule and Outline page. Use the Training Schedule to determine the course or courses you plan to attend on-line and then click the Order page to access our secure on-line order system. Select the course(s) you plan to attend and it we will process the registration once your credit card has been approved. You will receive a separate e-mail message for each registered course with a link to the on-line course and a phone number to call (with access code) on the date/time of the course. Please keep in mind that the course fee is a per attendee fee. In other words, each course fee is for one individual and the one year refresher courses apply to that individual only.
Please don't click the link or place the phone call until the time of the course. Register quickly since we expect these classes to fill up and we want to keep the class size to no more than 15 students per course. The training courses will be offered on a continual basis so if a class fills up, you will be able to try to register once again when the new schedule has been released.
To prepare you for the on-line training course using the GoToWebinar service, see the following Attendee Quick Reference Guide. The only thing you won't have to do is the registration process that is mentioned in the Attendee Quick Reference Guide (except for Course 1: Youth Track 6.0 Overview which will be handled differently since it is a free course geared towards prospective customers and/or brand new customers). We will be handling your registration once we receive payment from our on-line Order form. If you have time to become familiar with this material prior to the date/time the course starts, it will make everything run that much smoother.
